Oh man, this place is awesome! Recently remodeled dining area is flat cool. I love the custom tables & chairs. The designer did an outstanding job The menu was a tough choice, so many options I am looking forward to in the future I had the"Make you Sweat" chicken, oh so tasty... Not real hot though, You can handle it I will be back for a Margarita Great job guys!!
Clean building inside and out. Fast service from greeting to refills. Fresh warm chips salsa with a small bite, not bland. Hot and delicious main courses, Steak Villas and Carmalitas special.
I'm giving that three stars for service because it was a while before our waiter got to her table. I'd say 10-15 minutes and then after that we didn't see our server again until at the end of our meal had to call call attention to our table to get a refill and a drink. Other than that it was a really good time. The food's great!
It's rather nice. To have good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly persons who go out of the way to make you feel welcome.
My wife and I live in Saint Joseph and wanted to try a new place. Came right over the state line and we couldn't be more pleased! We were greeted with smiles when entering, and being a lesbian couple, that's rare around this area. We never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome while we were here. It was very calm and quiet, with a very family oriented atmosphere. The staff knew their customers and their children by name--this was so sweet to see! Our server was friendly and quick to refill anything we needed. Our food came out HOT and delicious....we had the chicken chimichanga and street tacos! I'm pretty particular about cheese dip and theirs is FIRE If you're ever near here, stop in and give them a taste!
Went to eat at our favorite Mexican Restaurant in ALL of Kansas. We go there nearly every time we visit our kids and grandkids, in St. Joseph, MO. We've always have been seated quickly and were accorded plenty of room. Our group numbers from 7 to 11, and the staff is very accommodating. The quality of the food is top-rate in both taste and serving size.
Well being from San Diego this place is one of the best around the area. My wife and I went and we love this place. Food is great service was awesome and everyone there was friendly. My wife ordered the two cheese enchiladas with taco and rice and beans. So loved everything but the taco. Beans and rice were authentic. I ordered the Burrito Durango it was freaking amazing. The chips and salsa were great. Must try in our opinion.
Tons of options. Large portions. Good prices. Nice service. Oh, did I mention they have a 40-something ounce margarita for like 11? Happy to recommend!
